As the barriers between traditional distribution models blur and the need for quality content across multiple platforms grows, the market for talented storytellers has never been better – it’s just a matter of knowing where to look.

IFP and the New York Television Festival have partnered to increase awareness among independent filmmakers about opportunities within television and new media and provide access and open doors for filmmakers to development executives across the television and digital landscapes. In this opening panel for NYTVF Development Day main stage line-up, attendees will hear insights from network development executives, agents and filmmakers that have successfully transitioned to TV.

Which of these emerging industry trends do you find most exciting for indie filmmakers?
