IFP at IDFA This Month

IFP alumni are showing in full force at International Documentary Festival Amsterdam this week, the world’s largest documentary film festival. 11 features, all alumni of IFP’s Spotlight on Documentaries program, play in the festival. These include Alex Mellier’s Alias Ruby Blade (also an alumnus of IFP’s Documentary Labs), Jay Bulger’s Beware of Mr. Baker, Holly Hardman’s Good People Go To Hell, Saved People Go To Heaven, Kathy Leichter’s Here One Day, Daniel Anker’s Icebound, Jamie Meltzer’s Informant¸ Kahlil Hudson & Tyler Hughen’s Low & Clear, Lori Silverbush & Kristi Jacobson’s A Place at the Table, Peter Friedman’s Poor Consuelo Conquers the World, Lauren Greenfield’s The Queen of Versailles, Sasha Friedlander’s Where Heaven Meets Hell.

Four additional IFP alumni feature works in progress pitch in the IDFA Forum, the international Co-Production Market there: Yance Ford’s Strong Island, Yoruba Richen’s The New Black (SoD12), Hao Wu’s The Road to Fame, and Nancy Kates’ Regarding Susan Sontag.

In addition, IFP programmer Rose Vincelli Gustine will be at the Int’l Documentary Festival Amsterdam, participating in Doc Lab, Forum and other festival events there. For more information about IDFA, and the films, click here.
