With over 30 films to his credit, Guy Maddin has been directing for nearly 2 decades. This visionary from Winnipeg, Canada, directed such award-winning, independent favorites as Heart of the World and The Saddest Music in the World. Here he will discuss his career path along with his latest feature, Brand Upon the Brain!. Specifically, how he so adeptly and uniquely engages his audiences even when many of his peers have chosen to leave the indie fold.
