In partnership with the Latin American Training Council (LATC), IFP and LATC jointly select 5 independent film producers to attend the Rio Film Market and Producer’s delegation each year.  Preference is given to U.S. producers working with Latin American, potential co-ventures or Spanish language projects appropriate for this market.
50 panels, 150 guests from all over the world and 700 hours of discussion packed the event’s 11 day schedule. Seminars, screenings and one-to-one meetings are aimed at helping U.S. producers tap into the Latin American financing opportunities and navigate the wealth of creative projects available in Brazil.
Upon selection, hospitality and accreditation is covered by Rio Market organizers for the attending IFP filmmaker and/or producer representative.
Applications open in July 2012.
