The Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) is widely recognized as one of the most important film-financing platforms in Asia. The 10th HAF, from 19-21 March 2012, together with Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART), from 19- 22 March 2012, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
HAF brings Asian filmmakers with upcoming film projects to Hong Kong for co-production ventures with top film financiers, producers, investors, distributors and buyers. Attended by 1,000 filmmakers and financiers, twenty-five projects are selected to participate in this three-day event. IFP, as the official U.S. partner of HAF puts forth up to 5 projects for this program. Selection is based on viability of the project in the Asian Marketplace, as well as artistic merit and is at the sole discression of the HAF programming team.
Upon selection, hospitality and accreditation is covered by HAF for the attending IFP filmmaker and/or producer representative.
