American Independents in Berlin

Independent Filmmaker Project

“”We are thrilled to be back in Berlin with the help of our amazing partners at the EFM and Sundance. We feel this is an important step in rekindling excitement about what is happening in the American independent space, and in creating a destination for important conversation on indie film at the festival.”

– Joana Vicente, IFP Executive Director

Presented in partnership with the European Film Market, American Independents in Berlin will showcase over 50 films through “IFP Selects” and “Sundance at EFM” Market Screenings, with the objective of highlighting new American work to buyers, distributors, and festival programmers, as well as provide support services to American filmmakers, companies, and organizations at their EFM booth. In addition, daily conversations and networking mixers will be open to all EFM attendees, highlighting leaders in the American creative and business landscape.
