Emerging Narrative Submission Procedures and Regulations
Emerging Narrative is a talent pool which identifies up-and-coming U.S. writers and writer/directors. It is the section which focuses on the discovery of new projects in development and new voices on the independent scene. Projects are selected on artistic merit and the potential of the project to benefit from the Emerging Narrative program.
Emerging Narrative is for:
* Writers & Writer/Directors with new, feature screenplays completed after September 2011
* U.S. filmmakers only (‘U.S. filmmakers’ means: U.S.-born, or any filmmaker living and able to work in the U.S.).
* Submitted screenplays must be in English
Priority is given to material with little to no prior industry exposure (contests, competitions, festivals or script programs, or been circulated amongst the traditional agent/development pools).
