The Berlin Orientation meeting was so informative and helpful—but more importantly, it was thrilling to see such a fine group of smart women mobilized to work on behalf of the IFP. As you can imagine, after spending 7 years making a movie, having a premiere is both exhilarating and scary. However, meeting your team, was inspiring and reassuring. I could feel the commitment, experience and the intelligence you all brought, and I felt that the IFP booth would be an ideal and welcoming home base during my time in Berlin.
