Iranian-American filmmaker Desiree Akhavan is the co-creator of the award-winning webseries THE SLOPE.  She has been featured as one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Film And is currently a thesis student at NYU’s Grad Film Program. Her first feature, APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR, is in post-production.Â
