The innovative individuals involved in these creations, in front of the camera or behind, will discuss just what our laptop screens can do for creative storytellers and their careers.

Moderator Todd Sklar President, Range Life Entertainment In 1994, Todd Sklar won Best Blocked Shots in his 5th grade basketball league. In 2012, his short film '92 SKYBOX ALONZO MOURNING ROOKIE CARD premiered at Sundance. His second feature, AWFUL NICE, followed in 2013, at SXSW. Most recently, he sold a TV show about food. It's called Foodshow.
Panelists Iranian-American filmmaker Desiree Akhavan is the co-creator of the award-winning webseries THE SLOPE.  She has been featured as one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Film And is currently a thesis student at NYU’s Grad Film Program. Her first feature, APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR, is in post-production.Â
Paul Briganti Director/Writer, CollegeHumor Paul Briganti is a comedy writer and director. He co-founded the production company LandlineTV and works at College Humor. His work has been on The Today Show, Comedy Central, and MTV.Additionally he has done creative work for The Onion, and performs at the UCB Theatre with house sketch team Onassis.
Ingrid created F TO 7TH, a web series with Amy Sedaris, Michael Showalter and Gaby Hoffmann. She co-created THE SLOPE web series, was one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 Faces of Independent Film and Out Magazine’s 100 People of the Year. She is currently developing the crime comedy, WOMEN WHO KILL.
Josh Poole Development Manager/Producer, Above Average Productions A graduate of Vassar College and Boston University, Josh has worked in political fundraising, publishing, and nearly died seven times while backpacking through South America. Previous to his current position with Above Average, he worked in development and production at MTV.
