World-renowned contemporary art museum the Walker Art Center took a page from the internet playbook and began their #CatVidFest last year – a film festival dedicated to the cute kitties of the interwebs. Hear how internet memes fit into the fine art world and get a sneak peek of the festival, which comes to Brooklyn in October 2013.

Scott Stulen is a producer, curator, artist, programmer and DJ. He is the curator and producer of the Internet Cat Video Festival and co-curator of Open Field at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN. He also directs mnartists.org an online community of 25,000 Midwest artists and organizations.
