New Voices! Screenplay Reading presented by SAGIndie Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 3:45PM - 5:00PM Bruno Walter Auditorium - 111 Amsterdam Avenue
It’s one thing to put words on a page, but it’s a whole other experience to hear those words read aloud by actors. Join the writers of four screenplays participating in RBC’s Emerging Storytellers program at Independent Film Week as they hear excerpts from their work performed live by actors cast by Zoe E. Rotter (Casting Associate, X-Men: First Class , Kick Ass ). Then – join the writers for a discussion about the transition from page to performance. Featuring excerpts from J.Todd Walker’s The Highway Kind , Jac Schaeffer’s I Like You Like You , Christina Choe’s Nancy , and Jeremiah Zagar and Dan Kitrosser’s We the Animals .
Presented by SAGIndie in partnership with The Blackhouse Foundation
