Wild Card Pitch

Wild Card Pitch
Monday, September 16th, 2013   11:00AM - 11:45AM
Bruno Walter Auditorium - 111 Amsterdam Avenue

Be the armchair executive and decide for yourself whether you'd give these projects the go-ahead. Industry experts who make a living off giving the greenlight will discuss the pros and cons of these select  new-media pitches.

Exploring web-based content, transmedia, games, apps, and other platforms, we'll show some of everything in this session!

Three total filmmakers with interactive, transmedia, or cross-media projects will be selected in advance. Filmmakers will have two minutes to give their pitch to the panel who will then dissect the pitch.

Presented in partnership with Filmmaker Magazine.

To Submit Your Pitch: Send your pitch (30 words max), project title, your name, the project platform, and the genre of your project (sci-fi, dark comedy, western, etc.) by 6pmEST on Friday, September 6 to coordinator@ifp.org, with the subject line ‘Wildcard Pitch'. Overlong pitches will be disqualified. Submitting pitchers must be able to attend the Filmmaker Conference. The three filmmakers selected to pitch will receive one free Conference Day Pass on Thursday, Sept. 19.
